Wear To Where Tour - Office Attire

I am so excited and a little nervous to be participating in my first blog tour. The Wear to Where blog tour hosted by Katy + Angelica

When Katy and Angelica approached me about signing up for this tour which will be featuring some amazing sewing bloggers as well as a some fab fashion bloggers I wasn't sure, because I am not technically either. But here I am trying something new!

Office attire seemed perfect for me because I wanted to give it a fun twist. The only office I have ever worked in is in my house, about three doors down from my bedroom. If I have learned one thing in the five years I have been self employed, and working from home it is this.

PJ's DO NOT EQUAL PRODUCTIVITY

... but they are so comfy.

So I challenged myself to come up with a wardrobe of items as comfortable as PJ's, but more productive. Also, I wanted to wear something I wasn't embarrassed for the mail man or the UPS guy to see me in.

There is also the occasional post office run, or I NEED STARBUCKS NOW emergency, and it is nice being ready to jump right in the car without having to rush around to get ready.

Thus my work from home look was born.

This usually means leggings, a cute top and this time of year a big cozy sweater. Here are the link's to shop today's look.

Open Cardigan - Target, in stores now (similar online)

Leggings - Nordstrom Rack

Chambray Button Down - Old Navy, old (similar here)

Work from Home Full Shot

I have to admit, a cute work from home look does not happen everyday. I am 100% guilty of working in my PJ's. However, I feel so much better about myself and my work when I take a few extra min in the morning to get myself together.

What about you? What's your go to office attire?
