We have been Florida Locals for just under two weeks now. I will be posting a few more details about our move and the first house update later this week but I wanted to share our first Disney Date night on the blog with you all today.
Last weekend we had dinner at Disney Springs with friends and purchased our Florida Resident annual passes!
I have gotten a few questions about Florida Resident AP's so I thought I would break down a few of the main differences in a Florida AP vs an out of state AP
1) Cost - Florida residents have discounted pass pricing that is not available to people who live out of state.
2) Pass Levels - Not only are the basic passes offered at a discount, there are additional pass levels you have access to as a Florida resident. These lower cost options include some black out dates where your pass isn't valid. Most of those dates are major holildays or breaks when the parks are expected to be more crowded.
3) Monthly Payments - A huge perk of the pass is that you can choose to pay monthly instead of a large sum of money at once. When you buy the pass there is a minimum down payment you have to pay upfront, and then they charge you monthly going forward.
This little Meeko Coin purse is a part of the Danielle Nicole x Disney collection and will be available on happilyevertees.com Tuesday April 3rd at 7pm eastern time.
Meeko is one of the few Danielle Nicole coin purses that actually fits a few cards, including your Annual Pass in addition to some change and money.
We loved getting to the parks as the afternoon crowds were thinning and the park was cooling off.
I wore a Best Day Ever tee from my shop, Happily Ever Tees paired with some linen/denim shorts I got from Uniqlo in Disney Springs. You can shop them online here. The shorts are super lightweight and comfy. Perfect for hot park days.
My bag as usual is Harveys. You can read the full review of this bag here. Although this bag is not currently available, you can find a similar Stitch style at Ever After Jewelry Co in Disney Springs.
The ears I have on are some of my favorites from Shop House of Mouse.
After our amazing early dinner at Satu'li Canteen (we try and eat our meals at off times when we are in the parks, it helps with crowds and finding a table!) we headed to take a few pics and wander.
It was so nice being in the parks without the pressure to put in a long day or do a million things. Then we headed to Dinoland. It started to look like rain so we went to our Dinosaur fastpass and while we were there the skies opened up.
I threw on my Pretty Little Monograms rain jacket (a must for your park bag!) and we made our way back across the park and hung out at Nomad Lounge for a bit. If you have any sort of food allergies like we do, you probably already know that Disney is an amazing place for that. At Nomad we were able to get a Gluten Free Pad Thai and CHURROS (both pictured below)! We hung out there until the rain stopped and then we headed home.
It was very surreal getting to sleep in my own bed after having dinner at Animal Kingdom!
We're looking forward to more park days with friends (and more blogging all about it) very soon!
