We stepped out in our best yesterday at Magic Kingdom for our second Spring Dapper Day! You can read more about last year’s events (our very first Dapper Day ever!) on the blog here.
Last year we didn’t really know what to expect, or what we were doing. We got to Magic Kingdom at the heat of the day with no plan and no reservations. We changed all of that this year and it was way more of a success!
First I want to share my Dapper Day look with you!
My dress was provided by Unique Vintage. It’s from their recent Pantone collection. You can view the entire collection here, and my dress here. It also comes in plus sizes! I found this dress to be very true to size, I am wearing the size Large (10/12).
As a graphic designer, I had to have the adorable dress that was covered in Pantone color chips. I also love that it kind of made a look inspired by Minnie and Mickey’s new celebration outfits.
For Dapper Day I usually only bring essentials. In this bag is a mini-wallet, phone, lipstick, annual pass and hand sanitizer. We typically don’t spend all day in the parks on Dapper Day so just a little bag works well for me.
I wore the shoes from the Toms post I shared on my Instagram last week. I was a little nervous about wearing heels in the Magic Kingdom, even little ones. I have to say though they were so comfortable even walking for most of the day. They are available on Nordstrom here, this is the Honey Leather color.
I knew I wanted to get some photos of Cam and I on the train and I am so in love with how they turned out.
Right now the WDW Railroad is down for refurbishment but it is open for photos and we took advantage of the Vintage vibes on Dapper Day!
In case you don’t know a Vintage Trolley was a big part of our engagement, and our wedding. These photos totally remind me of that.
After we took some photos (I always suggest getting that done first), we used our FastPasses and waited for lunch.
We ended up at Crystal Palace again. It’s one of our favorites and you can’t beat eating with your friends from the 100 acre wood!
Then, about the time we were heading to the parks last year, we headed home. It was getting hotter and hotter and I am so glad we headed out before we melted.
We did so much better than last year. I think early is key, having a plan is key and making a lunch reservation made the whole day special for us.
