Sunday Lately Week 61

To be honest, between getting back from vacation and then being sicker than I have been in a long time - I have totally lost track of what day it is. In other news if this post sounds like a rambling mess you can blame it on my meds.

ANOTHER TRIP! Of course we are. This time with our Disney BFF's Meghan and Corey. We decied to add 2 days ahead of the cruise we have planned for May to spend some time at Flower and Garden festival because it's my favorite time of year at Epcot.

We are totally wearing out our annual passes this year.

Also, with only 1 week since our half marathon we are already planning our next one! Disney's Marathon Weekend here we come!

Fuller House. Being sick since we got home has had it's perks. We are almost done with season 1. I love how corny it all is.

Nothing right now. We've been watching Fuller House haha.

I could get over this junk I have. It's rare that Cameron and I are both super sick at the same time. There is no one to make the food and do the laundry. Send help.

Overwhelmed by all of the well wishes and support I got here and on my instagram during and after the race! It's over and we are pumped for the next one!

Sunday Lately Week 60

As this post is going live we will be almost finished with our first HALF MARATHON. The Disney Princess Half Marathon.

So this post is past Nicole writing about future Nicole's first half marathon.

our first half marathon (like right now)!!!!! Queue all the confetti and all that fun stuff. Minnie and Mickey will be there to congratulate me at the finish line along with our family, and friends that we trained with and are running with us!

Epcot right after this!

We have lunch planned with the Princesses at the Norway pavilion, and I can't wait to show off my shiny medal!

YOU CAN DO IT, or at least Cameron is saying this to me over and over today. He is an awesome motivator.

This post a few days in the future so I hope all of the things I am talking about actually happen, haha!

Everything is all scheduled for the trip, after the race is done it's time to sit back and enjoy the rest of the trip!

Sunday Lately Week 59

Happy Sunday! It has been a crazy week filled with printing tees, running and preparing for our RACE WEEKEND which is just one week away.

It's time to check in, and catch up with Sunday Lately a weekly link up hosted by Blogger Tribe.

Our schedule for the week. Raise your hand if you always forget when the post office is closed for holidays? After a friendly reminder from Jenn my sister in law and email fairy, we had to re-plan the whole week. Not fun!

That just a few short months ago it was a task for me to run 1-2 miles. On Friday Cameron and I headed to the park and ran 10. It was our last long run before the race which is one week from today! EKKK! Cue excitement and nausea.

To get packing! I have a lists pile started in the office of all my tees and fun things to bring, but I am so nervous I am going to forget something critical to running.

Well technically I haven't worn it yet but my adorable Cute But Kinda Weird tee from Daisy Natives came and I am so excited to wear it!

Her designs are so cute and unique. Her Pizza Queen tee and This is My Sunday Morning Shirt are also on my wish list.

Go check her adorable shop out!

Excited! I will have Disney brain for the next few days as we run all of our last min errands and tie up all of the loose ends in the shop. Then I will panic until the race. Then I will have all the fun!

Sunday Lately 55

It's time for another round of Sunday Lately hosted by Blogger Tribe. If you are a blogger we would love to have you join our link up.

I love using it as a fresh start for the week, to get me back on track with my writing.

Cameron and I have been busy completing new designs for our tee shop Happily Ever Tees. We have all the supplies to make it happen, now we just have to make the time.

Honestly we have been basically treading water to get through learning a new skill in screen printing, managing all of the new supplies that come with it, and the flood of orders we found ourselves in.

I have designed next to nothing since early Fall. So getting back to the basics of what I love to do has been so refreshing.

We went through the photos from our recent visit to PGH and I fell in love with this shot Cameron took. Is that wrong to say I really like a photo of myself?

It's from our visit to Phipps Conservatory, you can read more about our PGH trip here.

I don't have much on repeat right now. I go through stages of listening to music while I work and watching a show. Right now I am catching up on The Good Wife. I feel like it's getting a little boring - but I also feel like I am too far in to not finish up the last season that's on Hulu.

Then I will be fresh out of shows. Any suggestions?

I have been doing a good job of getting ideas out of my head and in a draft blog post. I have a few that I add a little bit to as I come up with more things to say.

I have found it takes the burden out of feeling like I need to sit down and type for hours at a time to get a post scheduled.

We are scheduling some time for family to come over this week. We have our Disney Princess Half Marathon/White + Moss family vacation coming up in just over a month. So we are planning a fun Disney night to make some plans, eat pizza and cupcakes and wear our ears of course!

Sunday Lately Week 53

It's the first Sunday Lately of 2016 and the first week that is officially hosted by Blogger Tribe (more on Blogger Tribe in yesterday's post)! Cue the confetti!

ATTENTION BLOGGERS: We would love to have you join us. You can always view the topics for the next week at the bottom of this week's post. We would also love to have you join our Blogger Tribe Facebook group

A "to-blog" list. I spent some time the last week of December planning out posts through mid January. I am hoping this brings me some motivation to keep it going through most of 2016. Now all I need to do is fill in a few missing photos and finish off some writing and I will be all set.

It is so comforting, and much less stress when my posts are ready to go!

New and exciting places to explore in Pittsburgh. We go home tomorrow, but Cameron and I love exploring new cities together. We went to the Pittsburgh Penguins game last night, and we had so much fun!

Out shorts for hats and gloves! We have been so HOT the last few weeks. Pittsburgh has been freezing and it's not much warmer at home. I'm looking forward to a little winter and maybe a little dusting of snow!

Not much so far! It's the first week of 2016 and I lists on lists!

The smoothies that we have been making on the daily at home.

Its been balanced out by the walking but I have been eating and eating this weekend!ย

Introducing Blogger Tribe

When I first ventured into the blogging world I did it much like I do other things. Completely blind with no clue what I was doing.

I am not going to pretend I know what I am doing now. But I have created a fabulous tribe around me to help me seem like I know what I am doing. Including two ladies I mention on the blog here all the time, Meghan and Katy.

In one of our brainstorming sessions we came up with Blogger Tribe. A community of bloggers that comes together to help and encourage each other.

Blogger Tribe

We are starting with a Facebook group, it's all the rage now, which you can join here.

Our small but mighty tribe officially launched January 1st and we are growing daily. We did not create this group to sell you something, or promote our own blogs. We did this out of seeing a need for a blogging encouragement and networking group. It's a great place to ask questions, get advice, and even workshop some posts.

My favorite part of Blogger Tribe is the weekly share circle.

On the share circle thread each week we encourage the members of our blogger tribe to share their blog posts. We ask that if you share, take a few moments to read and comment on a few of the blog posts that are shared by the other members.

This creates a fun community, and you might even find a few new blogs to add to your must read list.

Our Blogger Tribe Facebook group has very few rules. We would love to be able to keep it that way. All that we ask is be kind to those in the group, if you take something, give something, and if you share something be an active participant by commenting on other's blog posts as well.

We really think that this group can be something amazing.

If you are a blogger, please give our group a join, and find us on Instagram @bloggertribe. We have lots of fun stuff planned and we would love to have you join our community.
