Chris Uphues Orlando Mural

Looking for something to make you smile? Pay a visit to the Chris Uphues Mural in Orlando and there is no way you won't leave with a smile on your face. I have always been a fan of Chris Uphues and his work. His happy pieces and bright colors bring so much joy! You can see his amazing work on his Instagram and website.

Even before we moved to Florida I had visiting his Hearts Mural on my list of things to do. I am so happy that we finally made the trip over to College Park to see this mural!

I love exploring and seeing murals and street art as much as I can. I think it adds so much to the cities they are in! However, there is something anxiety inducing about heading to a place you have only seen on Instagram for the first time. (At least for me!) So I thought I would break down as many details about this as I can so you will feel comfortable paying a visit!

First let's get into the location!

Chris Uphues Hearts Wall in Orlando

Location:

what to put in your Maps app: Infusion Tea - 1600 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804

Head to Infusion Tea for the best directions via your Maps app. The mural itself is located on the side of Infusion tea, on Guernsey Street.

Parking:

There is parking located behind Infusion Tea and also in front of the mural. Depending on how busy Infusion Tea is, some of the mural may be covered up by parked cars. Also please keep in mind that Infusion Tea is a busy cafe and they need all of the parking for customers! If you plan to go during the day when they are open to take some photos, be as quick as you can. (BONUS if you head inside and make a purchase!)

When to go:

Florida sun in general can be super harsh and can make it hard to take photos in the middle of the day. This wall gets a ton of sun in the afternoon. I would head to the mural first thing in the morning, or later in the evening for your best chance at a good photo!

I would even consider before/after Infusion Tea opens if you don't plan to go in while you are visiting. That way you aren't taking up any of their customers parking during their business hours.

The Chris Uphues Mural in Orlando is a super special piece of art and I am so happy that it's here. If you pay a visit be sure to tag @chrisuphues so he sees it!
