Sunday Lately Week 65

It's Sunday! Time to link up with the Blogger Tribe for Sunday Lately.

what seemed to be one of the longest weeks ever. I posted a little bit about it on my Instagram account on Friday.

Just one of those weeks that life keeps throwing some additional curves at you. We made it through to the other side and I am looking forward to April!

the GF & AF Expo next weekend in Atlanta as one of their official bloggers! Read more about it in this post here, and enter to win tickets as well!

As a small business owner who also enjoys their occasional day off it's something I am constantly reminding myself.

some posts that I am ...

the post that I am writing. I love working with brands and sharing my opionons on products I love. There are a lot of good posts coming up soon!

Sunday Lately Week 64

Welcome to the Sunday Lately link up, hosted by Blogger Tribe. Bloggers, read more about Blogger Tribe and our Sunday Lately link up here.

Let's jump in to what's been going on around here this week.

the Designs by Nicolina instagram for the first time in like EVER. It is so hard to balance two shops and a blog and it seems like when I am burning out, Designs by Nicolina is the first thing to go.

I finally have my feed looking the way I want it to there, and with my new iPad pro, I should be able to letter easier and get that feed some love.

that I don't have to please everyone. Actually I can't please everyone. This mainly applies to a small selection of our customers who don't seem to realize that we also have a life. As much as I wish we could restock the website at a time perfect for everyone, or have everything fully stocked at all times, we can't.

to finalize our taxes. It's happening this week if we don't have a mental breakdown about the mountains of numbers and paperwork looming over our heads.

My new Harveys bag wherever I go. You can read more about the new Disney inspired collection here, and check out Friday's post for a full review of the Streamline wallet. Also, I might be too excited about the new Happily Ever Tees design coming to the shop next week.

in a love/hate relationship with this weather. I love the temps, the sun and the flowers. However, anyone who has lived in or visited Georgia in the Spring will tell you of the yellow pollen blanket that covers our lives this time of year.

As much as I want to be outside at all times this time of year, my little nose and eyes can't handle it!

Sunday Lately Week 54

Welcome to Sunday Lately, a weekly link up hosted by Blogger Tribe.

It's been a busy week, what else is new. This week has been filled with running, work and actually putting up blog posts YAY so I can't complain too much.

Let's jump right into today's post, we would love to have you join us, just add your link to our post below.

The Happily Ever Tees website and logo. It needed a fresh look and style with the new year and new direction that the business is moving.

I tossed the orchid for an aqua that is the color of my walls and changed the white to black. I think it makes it pop, especially on the website. I always feel inspired to change things up when I need to order business cards or stickers.

I also have been adding review pages and more things to update our customer experience. Building a website is no joke hard work, but I am so proud of it.

Hey remember that time I signed up for a half marathon? Back in February I made the decision along with some of my favorite Princesses and my very own Prince Charming.

I posted earlier this week a Nicole Runs update, I am so proud of how far I have come. Be sure to check out the previous running updates here and here too.

All the coffee all week long. When ever we are busy or go out of town we get ourselves used to like double the amount of coffee we are used to.

We recently tossed our Keurig and decided to use a french press. It takes a little bit longer to make but the taste is so worth it.

Lots of running clothes! And layering up! It's been cold and I have to buckle down on my running before my Half Marathon I posted about Friday!

See yesterday's post about all my favorite running things right now!

Content with the mess that is my house and life right now. Literal mess. Ever since we got these new floors, which I LOVE, the house has been a big fat mess.

We contained the mess to one room.

Fingers crossed we can get to Ikea and get a garage sale together and SOON or I will for sure go crazy.

Sunday Lately Week 53

It's the first Sunday Lately of 2016 and the first week that is officially hosted by Blogger Tribe (more on Blogger Tribe in yesterday's post)! Cue the confetti!

ATTENTION BLOGGERS: We would love to have you join us. You can always view the topics for the next week at the bottom of this week's post. We would also love to have you join our Blogger Tribe Facebook group

A "to-blog" list. I spent some time the last week of December planning out posts through mid January. I am hoping this brings me some motivation to keep it going through most of 2016. Now all I need to do is fill in a few missing photos and finish off some writing and I will be all set.

It is so comforting, and much less stress when my posts are ready to go!

New and exciting places to explore in Pittsburgh. We go home tomorrow, but Cameron and I love exploring new cities together. We went to the Pittsburgh Penguins game last night, and we had so much fun!

Out shorts for hats and gloves! We have been so HOT the last few weeks. Pittsburgh has been freezing and it's not much warmer at home. I'm looking forward to a little winter and maybe a little dusting of snow!

Not much so far! It's the first week of 2016 and I lists on lists!

The smoothies that we have been making on the daily at home.

Its been balanced out by the walking but I have been eating and eating this weekend!

Introducing Blogger Tribe

When I first ventured into the blogging world I did it much like I do other things. Completely blind with no clue what I was doing.

I am not going to pretend I know what I am doing now. But I have created a fabulous tribe around me to help me seem like I know what I am doing. Including two ladies I mention on the blog here all the time, Meghan and Katy.

In one of our brainstorming sessions we came up with Blogger Tribe. A community of bloggers that comes together to help and encourage each other.

Blogger Tribe

We are starting with a Facebook group, it's all the rage now, which you can join here.

Our small but mighty tribe officially launched January 1st and we are growing daily. We did not create this group to sell you something, or promote our own blogs. We did this out of seeing a need for a blogging encouragement and networking group. It's a great place to ask questions, get advice, and even workshop some posts.

My favorite part of Blogger Tribe is the weekly share circle.

On the share circle thread each week we encourage the members of our blogger tribe to share their blog posts. We ask that if you share, take a few moments to read and comment on a few of the blog posts that are shared by the other members.

This creates a fun community, and you might even find a few new blogs to add to your must read list.

Our Blogger Tribe Facebook group has very few rules. We would love to be able to keep it that way. All that we ask is be kind to those in the group, if you take something, give something, and if you share something be an active participant by commenting on other's blog posts as well.

We really think that this group can be something amazing.

If you are a blogger, please give our group a join, and find us on Instagram @bloggertribe. We have lots of fun stuff planned and we would love to have you join our community.
