Lularoe has been popping up everywhere recently and with the bright colors and comfy style it's no wonder why.
I was so excited to try out some pieces when LulaRoe consultant Chelsea Nelson reached out to me.
The following is a review post, although pieces were provided to me by Chelsea, all opinions are my own. Be sure to read the entire post because we also teamed up for an amazing giveaway!
First up is one of my favorites. The Madison skirt.
I am typically a size 10 in skirts, and in the Madison I take a Medium. The length of the Madison is perfect, when worn at my waist it hits mid-knee. The waist is stretchy and has two pockets (anything with pockets is the BEST) I love that this skirt can be dressed up or dressed down.
Next I have on the Nicole dress. I personally think this dress looks best when belted, although this isn't a pattern would have picked normally I think it's super fun for summer. The length is great and super comfy and light weight.
The flowy skirt is super flattering as well. I also take a Medium in the Nicole dress.
What LulaRoe has become super known for is their butter soft leggings. Let's just say Chelsea sent me two pairs, and I have already bought more.
When paired with an Irma tunic, it's a super comfy outfit that also leaves you looking very put together.
The tunics run on the large side and while I am usually a Medium/Large in tops, I take a Small in the Irma.
I have two because I love them so much. I have paired them with everything from jeans and sneakers to tucked into a pencil skirt.
a side view of the Irma to show the length in the back
In the leggings I tried both the OS (one size) and the TC (tall curvy) I decided to go with the OS. I am typically a size 10 in pants.
These leggings are so good, I haven't bought anything but LulaRoe since I tried these out.
Next up are the Cassie pencil skirt and the Classic T.
I have worn this skirt so much since Chelsea sent it to me. I love the length and the thickness of the material makes it super flattering. I have worn it with and without tights, and with shirts tucked in and left out.
This Cassie is a size Medium. It hits me in about the same place as the Madison skirt, mid to lower knee.
The Classic T is a super versatile item to have as well. The length is long enough in the back to be worn with leggings but it also works great tucked into the skirt.
I am wearing a Medium in the Classic T.
It's so hard to find skirts that are modest not mini. I think the next items I need to add to my collection are the Amelia dress and a few more Classic T's. One of the best (and worst?) things about LulaRoe is their patterns are super limited! So if you see something you have to snatch it up!
Ready to start your LulaRoe addiction. Enter the giveaway Chelesa was so kind to offer below. All of the details are in the rafflecopter post below (make sure you join Chelsea's Facebook group!)
When Vans announced their collaboration with Disney, I could not have been more excited. Two of my favorite brands coming together. I knew they would knock it out of the park, and they so did.
Last Friday when the collection launched, Cameron and I headed to the Vans store to check it out the collection pick out a little something for ourselves! I am just now getting to do a post about how much I love the whole collection, some sizing tips, and a quick review.
I purchased these shoes, and was not given anything for my time and opinion.

The shoes were released in four classic Vans styles. Authentic, Era, Slip-On and SK8-Hi. I got the Minnie Mouse slip-on's but I am in love with the Princess Authentic too!
THE CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES.
Cameron tried on the Donald Duck Button Down and the Mickey Sweatshirt, and loved them but decided to go with the shoes instead.
The sweatshirt is pricey, but it's so nice. I would say based on the quality it is worth the money. The hats and backpacks have a nice quality to them as well. As much as I love the raglans, they are just a little too thin for me to justify the price tag.
Vans shoe sizing tips. Vans run true to size. No need to size up or down. Cameron purchased these Authentic Vans, and I purchased these Slip On Vans, and we got our normal size. Something to keep in mind: The canvas will stretch a bit, so don't buy them too big, or after a few wears they really will be TOO big. This is especially true of the Authentic (pictured below in the Donald Duck style) They also fit an insert for extra support nicely after a few wears if you have old lady feet like I do.
What's your favorite item from the collection?
Part of the reason I redesigned my blog to be Nicolina.Co is bring you more reviews about product that I love.
It took me a long time to find my perfect swimsuit brand. But I have, and today I am so excited to share why I love Aerie swimwear so much with this Aerie swim review. (PS this post is sponsored in no way by Aerie, all opinions are my own, but the post does contain affiliate links)
I first ordered an Aerie swimsuit last summer, after I trying (and loving) their bras. Based on the reviews I read, the suits ran true to size, which I have also found to be true. I love that because elsewhere I have needed to go up a size (or two) to get the top to fit correctly (not so great for the self confidence). I am typically a size 8-10 in tops, Medium or Large depending on how tight across the chest, and a Large top fits me perfectly.
Most, if not all, of the strapless tops also have a tie strap which is removable. The cup area is where the Aerie swimsuits really shine. That is usually the most difficult part of the swimsuit to fit me, and with Aerie I don't have to worry about it.
Their bottoms are nice as well. I love that they have an options of different cuts and styles. They carry everything from a classic bikini bottom, hipsters, boyfriend, midi-waisted, high-waisted and sky high-waisted. I have a pair of the hipster, as well as the pair you see in the photo below which are the midi-waisted. The hipster is more of a classic bikini bottom with some extra coverage on the sides. You can see a pair of those here. I decided to go with the midi-waisted this time, because the reviews were so great, and I totally agree. They offer A LOT more coverage, without being too high waisted (I'm not sure I can pull that off). I am a 10 in bottoms usually, I ordered a Large, and they fit perfectly. I love that with the midi-waisted I'm not self conscience while wearing my swimsuit.
I love Aerie for more than just their swimwear. Their Aerie Real campaign celebrates real girls. They design their products for everyone from thin to curvy girls. They use girls of all sizes in their ad work and they don't photoshop out "imperfections". In fact, in their bra section, you can actually see girls in your size wearing each bra, it helps so much when shopping online!
PS. If you have sensitive skin (like me!) Honest Co sunscreen is the BEST!
Do you have a favorite swim brand?
This is my third month getting a Rocksbox. What is a Rocksbox and why do I think all jewelry lovers need to give this service a try?
What is Rocksbox?
Each month of your subscription your Rocksbox personal stylist selects items just for you based on a questionnaire they have you fill out and a wish list you create. They send you three items, on loan (it kind of makes me feel like a celebrity), which are usually worth around $200 retail.
$19 a month gets you unlimited jewelry rental, and the ability to swap your set out anytime you want. When you are ready to swap out your set, just box it all back up, fill out the little survey, and stick the pre-paid label that's included in the package and drop it in your mailbox. SO EASY.
Fall in love with an item and want to make it yours forever? Each month $10 of the $19 you spend for the service gets can be applied to your purchase.
What to see inside my most recent Rocksbox?
Perry Street, Gwen Crystal Earrings in Yellow, insider price $40
Perry Street, Laurel Necklace, insider price $51
Sophie Harper, Pavé Star Bracelet, insider price $43
and don't forget that on top of those prices, If I wanted to purchase one I would be able to apply $10 of my "shine spend" towards the item. You can purchase via your account page or simply by not sending the item back!
Why do I think Rocksbox is worth a try for jewelry lovers?
I love jewelry. Especially quality pieces, that make a statement. The problem with statement jewelry is it either quickly goes out of style OR you get sick of wearing it. Enter Rocksbox. When you get sick of something you just send it back!
Another bonus is that it lets you try out new styles, without too much investment. $19 is a fraction of what any single piece in the box they send you would cost. I love that all of the pieces are trendy and colorful. It's been fun to mix up the pieces with my wardrobe.
Now that I have had the service for three months here are my thoughts.
I will always be completely honest in a review, even when the product is provided for me. With that being said, I have to admit that I was kind of disappointed in my second box. Okay, really disappointed. The necklace they sent was really similar to the first month. It was the same color metal, and the same color stones. The earrings were just OK and the bracelet wasn't anything I would have picked. I wore none of the pieces and I sent it back quickly. I was sure to be honest in my Rocksbox review. (when you send a box back, you also submit a review so they can perfect your box for the next time) They did a much better job with this round.
I would say, be specific with what you are adding to your wish lists and if you have any requests, or things you really don't want - note them. I think it is certainly the kind of thing that will get better with time.
Disclaimer: I received three months of Rocksbox in exchange for my review on the service. You can read more about what this means here.
